Kids Christmas Work Party

Every year Wayne's work has a fun Christmas party for families. The show this year was "If you give a Moose a Muffin". It was pretty good. This year and last they've had lots of carnival style games for the kids to go around and use their tickets to play and win prizes. They also had the food court open this year so it was fun to stop and eat lunch while we were there.

Myer wasn't interested in playing games until he saw he could get a treat. Then once he got one he was good for awhile!

Kenner was having a hard time getting these rings around the poles so the lady told him he could get closer.

He literally got closer and went right up to the poles and just started putting them on. Ha ha! A kid behind him in line was a bit perturbed he was "cheating"!

Myer camped out here for a bit enjoying his sucker after playing one game to get it.

Later he came and did a few more games.

It was a fun filled Saturday. A few hours after the work party Kenner had a birthday party to go to for one of the little girls in his class.

They had this huge bouncy slide in their front yard. Kenner was in heaven!

They also served lunch and had a magician come. Kenner wasn't impressed with the magician. Instead he snuck back outside and pretty much had the bouncy toy to himself! He enjoyed seeing and playing with several of his friends from school at the party.

Stay tuned for more Christmas posts!

Preschool Advent Night

Kenner's preschool had an advent night earlier this week. It was pretty fun with real animals and lots of activities for the kids to do. Here are some of the things we enjoyed.

We stopped and checked out the animals first thing before heading inside. Myer was quite amused by these llamas and that they kept eating the grass!

This other little area was fenced off and had several other animals that you could go pet. It was hard to get a shot of the kids with any of them but I caught some of just the animals.

The agitated goat. The lady told us to watch out because it was a bit agitated. Too much excitement I guess.

This is what we do around here to get our snow fix I guess. Kiddie pools full of ice. Haha, made me laugh. Kenner was enjoying trying to throw it at people.

Decorating cookies

Filling bottles with lots of cool things, mostly bird seed and glitter in Kenner's case.

Myer mostly just wanted to dump stuff from cup to cup.

Stampin' it up!

Decorating an ornament

There was sure alot to do, we didn't even do everything. The kids had a fun time!

Fischer Blessing

Fischer was blessed this last Sunday, December 5th. Wayne gave him a nice blessing.

Here are some pics of the occasion.

My Three Sons!

In several of the other pics Myer was being cranky and not wanting to smile. In an attempt to make him happy I asked him where his tummy was. I missed several shots in between all that but thought this one was funny because Myer had his arms up because he had had his shirt pulled up and then Fischer got fussy and threw his arms up!

Here is some of the tummy shot that made him finally smile!

I couldn't decide on which ones to post of Fischer so here's just a bunch, even though there are still a ton more I could've posted. I know the Grandma's will enjoy!

*Don't miss the Thanksgiving post below that I just put up as well.

Thanksgiving!

I better hurry and get this posted before Christmas gets here. Just a bit behind!

We had a nice quiet Thanksgiving here with just our little family. The kids enjoyed looking through the ads that morning with me. Myer looked for Buzz and Woody in all the ads and got excited when he'd find them and say "Look mom" in a really cute excited voice! Even if it was on an ad for a tv showing the Toy Story 3 show!

I attempted to be somewhat festive this year and find some fun activities to do with the kids. I found several and well, we only followed through with one.

and it probably lasted not even ten minutes! It was fun while it lasted. I wish my kids would get more excited about doing things like this. Maybe it'd encourage me to do more of it if they showed a higher level of enthusiasm for me.

The finished products

The other thing I guess we did do was to write something we are thankful for each night on some colored leaves I printed. It made the wall nice and festive looking with the fall looking leaves I thought. Here is Kenner posing for me by the Thankful wall!

I made us a nice little feast, at least Wayne and I thought it was nice, picky kids!

Fischer enjoyed from the sidelines. I stuck him in his seat by the table so he'd be happy and let me sit and eat to my hearts content!

Hope everyone else had a nice Thanksgiving, now that its almost Christmas and all!
